What is the free shipping bar?

Free shipping bar notifications help to increase the average order value(AOV) for online stores by incentivizing customers to add more items to meet the minimum threshold for free shipping.This leads to increased AOV as customers seek to avoid paying shipping fees by adding more items to their cart.


Enabling free shipping message

Enabling this will display a free shipping message on the cart drawer  and cart page of your store. This message is only informational and not dynamic based on shipping settings.

Note- ||Use amount|| to display progress towards free shipping.


How to set up the free shipping bar?

Once set up, the free shipping bar will show within the cart drawer and on the cart page.

Steps:

  1. Open the Theme editor go to Theme settings > Cart
  2. Scroll to the free shipping message settings and enable the show free shipping notice settings.
  3. In the Minimum spend for free shipping input field enter the minimum order amount(s) to qualify for free shipping.

Note-   Use round numbers. Exclude currency, symbols, and letters.These settings is for the front-end view only. You will need to configure your shipping rates accordingly for free shipping to take effect. The minimum amount required for free shipping.
